The formation of a 50,000,000-dollar marketing association of fruit and vegetable growers of America is announced. It obtained a charter in Delaware State yesterday. The new organisation will provide a national and international sales service for the joint use of farm co-operative associations and growers throughout the country. Air Arthur Rule, the chairman, announced to-day that fifty co-operatives would be included and the association ox peeled to do business of fifty thousand cars for the first year. According -to Mr Rule the organisation is I he outcome of the Federal Farm Hoard’s marketing programme and ils purpose is to strengthen and build up local organ ma 1 inns by offering them a more complete marketing service, adequate credits and other advantages.
