BOYS AND GIRLS’ CLUBS.
THREATENED WITH EXTINCTION
TO-M ORROW’S IMPORTANT MELTING.
At the annual meeting of the South Taranaki, Boy,s’ and Girls' Oubs, to be held in the Borough, Council l Chamber*! to-morrow at 11 .a.m., the following resolution, adopted at the last meeting of the executive, wifi be considered': — ‘That failing better financial support being given to the Boys’ and' Grins’ Clubs bv the farming community, it be a, recommendation to the annual meeting that the scheme be discontinued.”
It is honed that there will be a lairge attendance at thisi meeting in order that the decisions arrived iat may have tie su .pert of al'i interested, in the boys’ 'aaid girls’ clubs movement—a movement which is growing steadily in other parts of the. Dominion, but which is threatened with extinction in South Taranaki, where it originated, owing to the reason stated in the above resolution.
