MISSING KOBENHAVN.
NO DEFINITE NEWS. THE ISLANDERS’ STORY. • United Pros Association —By Ewtri.- Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 11.2-5 a.m to-day. CAPETOWN, -July 17. The search vessel Mexico has arrived and reports no definite news of the missing ship Kobenhavn. The captain confirms the story from Halesiu.s that the Kobenhavn passed Tristan da Ounha on January 21. The people of the islands give a story reminiscent of that of the Alarie Celeste —that one topsail and one jib sail were set as she passed, and the other sails were furled and there was no sign of life aboard. She seemed to be drifting on the rocks, but the current swung her around. She appeared to he in a. good condition.
