TWO GIANT LINERS.

A message' from Boston states, that Mr Joiseuh Sheedy, president of the United States Lines, announced that the construction of two new liners will commence early in 1930. They will he modelled falter tine T/eviathnn, but. both will be larger. The new vessels are expected to be completed within three; years. They will be 956 feet long, with a disp'aceanient of 56.000 tons, and will accommodate 4000 passengers. Mr Sheedy stated that the company’s policy will be to add one ship per annum to the fleet.
