EUCHRE AND DANCE, The euchre party '.and dance held in the Maamia Town Hall on Monday ni <r ht in aid of the earthquake retiet fund was fairly well attended and realised £9. McDonald. . . „ The ladies’ committee, composing Mesdames' J. Young, Laursen, A. Ganifin, Nairn, Andrews J. Oliagne 1. Sutherland Edwards, Iverr and Miss Franklin, are to be congratulated on their very fine spirit m helping this worthy cause. The ’Women’s Division of the farmers’ Union are going to hold 4 euchre party and dance in Mrs R. Hughes barn to-morrow night for the earthquake blanket fund.
