INFLUENZA ON MAUI POMARE.
MORE CASES REPORTED. (By Telegraph—Pteas Association.' AUCKLAND, April L Two officers on the Maui Pomare contracted influenza, on Saturday. The patients now housed ashore at ‘ ‘ Cintra” number 25, of whom 12 are able ! o walk. In addition one of the nurses who attended the sick men on board the , Maui Pomare has contracted the disease. The medical view is that she caught influenza because of the cramped and improperly ventilated conditions in the crew’s quarters.
