It is announced that Sir Hubert Wilkins has postponed until July, 1929, Ms submarine trip under the ice of the Arctic. It is explained that the postponement was decided upon because of the shortness of time wherein to complete the necessary plans. The decision on the postponement was made within .the, last, 48 hours, Mr Putnam, part owner of the submarine it was proposed to use, said: “Certain contingencies arose that convinced us the time element is too. pressing. ’ ’
