KING AT BOGNOR
GOOD PROGRESS MADE. GREETS CROWD ON BEACH. WALKING EXERCISE CONTINUES. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, April 1. During the week-end the King continued to take walking exorcise in the ground of Craigwell House. This morning he again listened to the band which came over from Bognor to play for him, and during; tlie programme he delighted the large crowd of holidaymakers who had assembled on. the beac-li by walking to the edge of the Craigwell House .seawall, and greeting them. Someone cried. “Get well, sir,” and he replied. “Thank you. 1 am doing so,” and expressed a hope that they had enjoyed the music. Received 12.30 p.nt. to-day. RUGBY, April 2.
After spending a good night, the King rose early this morning and soon after breakfast went for a- walk in Craigwell House grounds. 'During the da-v there was a cold easterly” wind, but tlie weather was bright and the King spent considerable time in the grounds.
