(Australia) retained the gold helmet against Allen (Auckland) challenger, at the Nilbirnie Stadium dirt track motor-cycling races to-night. Miss Pay Taylour defeated D. Managh, Halcombe, comfortably in a special challenge race. Later, when finishing in a handicap race, she fell and gashed one of her fingers and did not compete further.
