SECOND DAY’S RESULTS. INYEROAR GILL, April 1. The annual meeting of the Riverton Racing Club was continued to-day in line weather. There was a large crowd. The track was holding slightly. The totalisator handled £20,239 10s, as against £21,702 10s on the second day last year, Results are: — President’s Hack Handicap, of 125 sovs; six furlongs. —6 Pull Fling, 8.0 (L. Woolford) 1; 1 Lucky Light, 8.9 (P. J. McKay) 2; 5 Eed Boa, car. Cooper). Also started: 3 Attract, 8.12; 2 Some Porin, 8.3; 10 Some Signal, 7.G; 7 Remindful, car. 7.2; 4 Meitui, car. 7.34; 9 Ohai, car. 7.2; 11 Some Guy, car. 7.12; 8 Banner Boy, car. 7.4. Won by a neck, with a neck between second and third. Banner Boy' was fourth. Time, 1.17 1-5. Otaitai Steeplechase, of 200 so vs; about two miles. —4 Pabriano, car. 9.9 (A. Youngman); 5 Exin-go-bragh, car. 0.01 (U. Thompson) 2; 8 Cazna, 9.12 (J." Walker) 3. Also started: 2 Nyanza 1,0.4; 3 Calibration, 9.12; 1 Karanga, 9.9; (3 Plug Lieutenant, 9.9 and French Fleet, 9.0 (bracketed); 7 Parader, 9.3. Won by fifteen lengths, with 200 yards between second and third. Nyanza was fourth. Time, 4.30 4-5. Southern Champion Hack Handicap, of 300 so vs; one mile. —1 Latin Quarter, 8.10 (P. J. McKay) and 2 Tembroney, 8.2 (E. Rosewarne) dead heat, 1; 7 Red Sea, car. 7.7 (J. L. Cotton) 3. Alfeo started: 3 Greenstone, 11.2; 6 Frenchman, 10.10; 5 Ranui, 10.0; 7 Windermere, 10.0; 8 Nyanza, 9.3. Won by three and a half ..lengths, with 100 yards between second and third. Ranui was fourth. Time, 5.27 2-5.
Wallace Hack Handicap, of 130 sovs; seven furlongs. —-2 Narrative, 8.3 (J. Andrews) 1; 1 Town Major, 7.4 (L. Moulin) 2; 3 Barney Go-ogle, car. 7.2 (L. Woolford) 3. Also started: 5 Arrowy, ear. S.O; 7 Attractive Lady, car. 7.8; 4 Vinegrove, ear. 8.24; 6 Lucky Maid, ear. 7.0; 8 Gong, 7.0; 9 Barn Door, car. 8.1. Won by a neck, with three-quarters of a length between second and third. Vinegrove was fourth. Time, 1.31 2-5.
Monowai Handicap, of 200 sovs; one mile. —-6 Money Mine, 8.2 (J. Andrews) 1; 3 Camisader, S.ll (P. Powell) 2; 5 Fairy Herald, S.S (B. Brodie) 3. Also started: 2 Overhaul, 8.13; 1 Apache. 8.9; 4.Plying Mist, car. 7.4; 7 Solzia, car. 7.0; S The Harp, car. 7.4). Won by a length, with one and a half lengths between second and third. Apache was fourth. Time, 1.43 1-5.
