MUSIC FOR THE KING. QUEEN AT BUCKINGHAM PALACE DUKE OF GLOUCESTER’S TRIP. (Australian Press Association—United Service.) Received 9.40 a.m. to-day. , LONDON, March 29, The King spent nearly three hours in brilliant sunshine in Craigwell House grounds to-day. To-morrow a band from the Army School of Music will play on the lawn. The Queen will stay at Buckingham Palace on Friday night in order to attend the funeral of the Marchioness of Cambridge at Windsor on Saturday. The Duke of Gloucester left for Tokio to invest the Emperor with the Order of the Garter. He was farewelled by the Prince of Wales, Prince George, and the Japanese Ambassador.
