BRITISH REVENUE.
(British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 27. .Exchequer returns issued last night show a revemie surplus, of £9,400,000 up to March 23 as compared with a surplus. of £2,200,000 qn March 16. One week’s revenue has still to be collected before the close of the financial year on Saturday next. The revenue for the year to. March 23 amounts to £732,200,000, and the ordinary expenditure, including sinking fund, to £722,700,000.
