Commenting, on the production of dairy produce during January, tire “Monthly Abstract of Statistics” states I that measured by the grading figures, the production of drees© was the highest monthly figure yet recorded, while the output'of butter was surpassed on ■one occasion only— via., December, 1926. Compared with the corresponding month last year, butter shows an increase of 17.1 per cent., and cheese an increase of 14.3 Tier cent.
