MANAIA HOCKEY-CLLB. j The annua” general meeting of the AJ anaia Hockey Club was held in Mi L. G. Simmons’ office on Tuesday night and from the enthusiasm shown and the good attendance of members it augurs well for the success of the club for the forthcoming season. Air T. M. Miller presided. The report stated that, although y* 1 ’ successful in reaching championship honours, the club, composed of young and inexperienced players, had in no wav disgraced itself, members turning out for each match and playing to the best of their ability. With more combination thrown in this season, the cluD should be more successful. .
