DEATH FROM BURNS.

OTAKEHO WOMAN SUCCUMBS. EJiza_ Shirtcliffe, a married woman, aged 35, who was admitted to the Hawera Hospital at l p.m. to-day suffering from severe burns on both Jogs and the body, died about an hour later.

Details as to the origin of the injuries are not available, though it is known that medical attention in tbe first instance was at Manaia.
