THE EXHIBITS

The display in all sections was very good, quality being pronounced throughout and all were much admired. The Jersey and Ayshires were probably the best the society has had. The judges were very complimentary in their remarks on the exhibits.

The Jersey cattle section on the whole was very good, said the judge (Mr. H. Moreland), and the animals compared veiy favourably with those to be seen at any leading show. The Ayrshire section drew heavy entries in all classes, and the quality shown was very high, particularly in the vounger divisions, was the verdict of the judge, Mr. C. Ei. C. Webb. The champion bull in the registered milking Shortliorns was fit for any show in New Zealand, according to Mr J. Hearsay .the judge. One the whole the entries in the section were not up to standard, but the quality displayed in nearlv all classes l was good.
