REDUCTIONS WORTH TWENTYFIVE MILLION DOLLARS. (Australian Press Association —United Service.) Received 12.45 p.m. to-dav. OTTAWA, March 1. Most of the changes in the Canadian tariff announced by the Minister of Finance, the Hon. J. A. Robb, are merely adjustments, but the total loss of revenue in tariff reductions and other taxes are estimated at. twenty-five millions. The sales tax has been reduced from three to two per cent, tax on railway and steamship tickets, and from telegrams and cables has been removed.
