THE WINTER, EXHIBITION. DAIRY SECTION SCHEDULE. Every year the schedule for the dairying section at the Winter bliow in 11 wera is carefully revised by the committee aided by experience,a men with a view: to effecting any improvements possible and so bring it right up-to-date. There are a number of special trophies which always create- keen competition and these include the Shaw, SayilL unci Albion Cup, points prize in cheese classes, and the Lonsdale Challenge Cnp, in a special eheese class, judged on the average Government grading for six months, October to March, in conjunction with 25 per cent, of the soqrlng at the show, the factory securing the highest average points to be adjudged the winner of the cup. There are also special prizes presented by the Hawera Dairy Company and- by the show executive. In butter there willl bo the show executive’s challenge cup for highest points iii best box of. factory butter, prize of £5 donated by the Eltham Dairy Company for best box of butter (open class) and an Andrew Clement’s Cup for butter grading competition. In addition there is -a long list of valuable prizes. Both sections of the dairy produce are comprehensive and are certain to attract very wge entries throughout.
