MAN AW AT U’ S BIG SCORE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) PALMERSTON N., Jan. 31. The Hawke Cup match, Wairarapa v. Manawatu, ivas resumed this morning. Baumber and Eletcher continued Manawatu’s innings and runs came steadily but with the score at 418 Baumber went l.b.w. after making 162. The innings closed with the addition of nine runs. Additional scores are : Fletcher, c B 1 ami res, b Falloon ... 35 Diederidli, o Blamires, b Hoar 0 Tarrant, not out 0 Extras 28 Total 427 Bowling analysis.—Falloon took two wickets for 74 runs. Hoar three for 87, Renner one for 44, Morton none for 42, Groves none for 54, Montgomerie two fr 37, Blamires one for 29, Uttley one for 24, Patrick' none for 8.
