WELLINGTON, Jan. 24. j On- the second, day of the Wellington j races, with the -exception of a couple of : showers, the weather was tine. There was only a fair attendance owing to the off day. The totalisa-tor handled £50,254, compared with £75,092 on the second day last year, a decrease of £25,438, due to the fact that Anniversary Day fell on the second day last year.
