KIA ORA CLUB. COMPETITION RESULTS. The Dingle Buttons are played for every Thursday by the Kia Ora Club, aiul during January there were four good contests. The winners were: Third, Airs Cropton and Mrs King; tenth, Mrs Cropton and Mrs Mevriek; seventeenth, Mrs .1. E. Campbell and Mrs W. M. Winks; twenty-fourth, Mrs Evans and Mrs J. Syme. DISTRICT TROPHY. The Tait Stars are a district challenge trophy, -open to players with a handicap of between five and eight bisques inclusive. . Okaiawa, the holders, have sustained two challenges and according to the rules laid down, they now surrender the trophy. In a draw the Stars were allotted to Wnv-er ley on whose lawns the next match will take place.
