The touring manager’s private ’phone number has been changed since the last issue of the Telephone Directory, and the above number, which connects with his residence, should be noted. The A.A.A. extends its privileges to members of other automobile associations, and this year motorists will be required to produce the current year’s membership ticket -of their respective associations before being granted service or information. A feature of the Auckland patrol service is that all uniformed patrols salute the club’s badge, the nickel associate emblem of the Royal Automobile Club of Great Britain. This will apply to all,associations, arid motorists are urged, in their own interests, if a patrol fails to .salute, to stop and ask the reason why.
