Dec. 13, Edward Dickinson, a labourer, was sentenced to imprisonment fox; six months and was fined £4O for seditious libel. He Was also sentenced to three months’ imprisonment and fined £IOO for having participated in a riot. The seditions libel was contained in a pamphlet headed “Direct Action.” Tins i,s the first prosecution of the kind in South Australia.
