(From Our Own Correspondent). SUNDAY SCHOOL ANNIVERSARY. Tlie Auroa- United Sunday School held the anniversary services on Sunday last. The children had been weld trained by the Sunday school teachers, Misses J. Lyndon and R. Johnstone being mainly responsible for the work. Sods were rendered by Misses- E. Hi toll cook. E. Lyndon and duets by F. and' N. Duff, M. Lilley and Vera King. These' items, as wel’l as the concerted singing, were very pleasing. The afternoon service was taken by the Rev. R. Milter and the evening service by the Rev. H. C. Orchard. Miss J. Lyndon acted as organist. OALF-REARING COMPETITION. The Auiroa. School made a record entry for the calf-rearing competition and had not several competitors withdrawn an exceptionally large show woiflkl hia-ve been presented for adjudication. BOWLING CLUB. Tii-o shield fixture between the Auroa ami Ware a- .Bowing -Clubs took place last Saturday afternoon at the Auroa green, the Auroa Club winning by 79 ! points to- 38. The following are the 1
