WILKINS’ EXPEDITION. UNFAVOURABLE FLYING WEATHER. (United X*ress Association—By Electric Telegraph Copyright.) (Australian Press Association.) Received 11.30 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Nov. 30. Sir Hubert- Wilkins has went a wireless message from Deception Island, dated: November 28, to the effect that there had been unfavourable flying weather during the_ past six days, there )wing high winds, low _ clouds, wet, snow, and intermittent visibility. At the first opportunity both machines were leaving Waddel Sea, and will he away for several days. BYRD EXPEDITION. DEPARTURE POSTPONED TILL TO-MORROW. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Nov. 30The Byrd Expedition will not now leave before noon to-morrow.
