■ ADDINGTON MARKETS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.J CHRISTCHURCH, Nov. 28. Entries were again heavy at the Addington market, the fat sheep constituting a record entry. This section met with a weaker sale, but all other sections sold well. Eat Lambs.—Special lambs made 35s to 37 s 9d, prime 31s to 33s 6d, medium 29s to 30s, light 26s to 28s. Eat Sheep.—Extra prime wethers sold to 38s 6d, prime wethers 33s Cd to 36s> 6d, medium wethers 29s 6d to 335, light wethers 25s to 28s 6d, extra prime ewes to 35s 6d, prime ewes 30s to 32s 6d, medium ewes 27s to 295, light and aged ewes 23s 6d to 26s 6d. Eat Cattle.—A few pens of beef made 50s, good steer 45s to 48s, medium 41s to 445, best heifer 44s to 475, medium cow 37s to 41s, and rough down to 30s per 1001 b. Extra prime heavy steers sold to £24 17s 6d, prime heavy steers £l9 to £2l 10s, medium weight prime steers £l6 10s to £lB 15s, odinary steers £l2 10s to £l6, light steers* £lO to £l2, extra prime heifers to £l7 17s 6d, prime heifers £l3 to £ls 10s, medium heifers £lO 10s to £l2 10s, light heifers £8 to £9 10s, extra, prime cows to £l6 12s 6d, prime cows £l2 10s to £l4 15s, ordinary cows £lO to £l2, light and aged cows £6 10s to £9 10s. Fat Pigs.—Choppers made 30s to 40s, haconers £3 to £4 4s 6d (average per II) sfcl to 6d). porkers 33s to 55s (average per lb 6d to Gild). BURNSIDE PRICES. DUNEDIN, Nov. 28. There was a large yarding of all classes of stock at the Burnside sales to-day, and prices were generally on a par with last week’s reduced rates. Eat iCattle. —Best bullocks made from £22 to £24, and Others from £ls to £2O; best heifers were worth up to £ls, and heavy cows made to £l4; prime ox beef brought 50s per 1001 b; extra heavy, 47s 6d; heifer 455; and cow and light heifer 40s. Eat Sheep. —Prime heavy, shorn wethers made to 42s 6d, prime to 355; and medium to 32s 6d; the best ewes brought up to 36 s 6d, and prime sorts to 32s 6d; woolly wethers made to 565, and woolly ewes to 345; the prices per ib were prime shorn wethers, 5Jd, prime woollies 7d, prime shorn ewes 44d. Heavy lambs made to 37s 9d, and others from 28s to 3Ss; the price per pound was lOd. Piigs.—The demand was easier for porkers ,by about 4s per head, and baconers sold at late rates.
