SYDNEY, Nov. 29. The Royal Commissioner, Judge Edwards, who inquired into the allegations made by Mr Lang in Parliament against the Savings Bank administration and its solicitors, Messrs Tress and Cocks, who handle the advances for home business, finds that all Mr Laing’.s charges are untrue.
“There is not a tittle of evidence to support any one of the allegations,” says the commissioner. “There was nothing to suggest that Tress and Cocks had dealt with second mortgages or that they had transgressed the highest traditions of the legal profession. ’.
