Shares of the Canadian Marconi, which were dinicult to sell at three shilling in 1927, jumped to ±2o.s on Throgmorton Street last night, says the “naily Express.” The rise is tne most sensational on the Stocky Exchange this year. Shares rose li s on jj'nday, hs on Monday and ns on Tuesday. They were then 80s ana were iuOs when tlie Stock Exchange closed, but the- rise continued in the street alter hours. To-day they closed at 110 s. . The demand is due to New lork operators believing wireless telephone developments will assist tne fortunes of the Canadian Marconi Company, which controls tlie patents. •
