Armed menn will be concealed in a specially constructed motor van which is leaving London shortly to collect pictures worth £5,000,000 from public galleries and private collections in England and Scotland for an exhibition of Dutch masters at Burlington House in J anuary. The motor van is fitted with special springs and a padded case for each of the three hundred pictures. There will be armed guards, including local police, day and night.
