At tlie- wool sa-les 10.561 bales were offered, of which- 6094 were Australian and 3151 New Zealand. There was an excellent selection of greasy merinos, suitable- for all sections, a large offering of slips, and a small supply of -other sorts. Under keen competition the opening rates were: maintained. Individual clips sold a<s follow:—“Terrick” top 26id. average 24d; “Bugewong,” 2L}d and 19id ; “Wei jimoringle,” 24-|d and 23d; “Bnngate.” 25i-d and 23Jd; “Alosgiel,” 2ltd and 19d.
