A London Press message states that the reason for General Eyrie’s (Federal High Commissioner) tardy recovery is a. blood clot in the leg. which lias now shifted to the other leg, necessitating complete rest. Mr. John'Scurr, Labour member for Stepney, has resigned from the Labour Party because lie dissents in the GoolcMaxton campaign, states a London Press cable.
