The suggestion has been made that at. the 1929 international aviation exhibition at Olympia Sir Ross Smith s and Bert Hinkler’s', -planes should be contrasted side by side. F urther,. that Hinkler’s nlane should- afterwards be given to the- Commonwealth Museum. If so the Avro Company is ready to. give Hinkler another. Speakino- at to-day’s luncheon to inaugurate* the exhibition campaign, Mr. Handley Page, discussing the Year's achievements, said: “What could he more thrilling than Hinkler s feat, dav after day, with plenty of flying and little sleep. • showing us that there are .still Britishers with guts.” _______
