ELECTION RESULTS.
(To the Editor.) Sir, —Permit me to express my appreciation of the courteous and thought, fully considerate .action of the “Star” in supplying the lists of the candidates iu the election to all who eared to ask for them. They were distributed at the theatres and other places and were very helpful to those who were following the progress of the most interesting con lest; 1 can remember. 1 speak for myself, but I am quite certain 1! am giving expression to the opinion of a very large number of the residents of Hawera. —I am, etc., Cl VIS HAWERIENSTS.
