Election was commenced in dull weather. There was a steady flow to the booths from their opening and there was every indication of a big poll. Rain set in at noon and may effect the poling. LICENSING ISSUE AT MASTERTON. M ASTER-TON. Nov. 14. The weather was fine hut overcast for the election. The liquor question is overshadowing that of the election of a member of Parliament. A very heavy poll is expected. GOOD WEATHER AT AUCKLAND. AUCKLAND, Nov. 14. 'There is beautiful weather for polling and a record vote is expected. Very keen interest is being shown in the Auckland East, Eden, Grey Lynn suburbs, all of which are expected to be dose contests.
