TOURISTS.
Another joke! How many tourists ask themselves, before setting out on a journev, whether or not a liquor poll is hold iii the places they intend to visit! Moreover, how -much better -hotel* ac-com-nvandation did the Liquor Trade provide under a virtual seven year tenure than they do now under three? LIBERTY! The Liquor Trade asks for liberty to sell that, which taken by a motor driver renders him a menace to himself and all who use the roads. The Liuqor Traffic does not pay for the fatalities and injuries resulting from intoxicated drivers —the sufferers and Hie public pay. YOUR POUND. A £1 now spent on drink would go further spent on other things under Prohibition. The diversion of over £25,000,000 every three years from expenditure on liquor to useful commodities would reduce the cost of living by increasing production, and .everybody’s pound would go further.* .
