“PETER PAN AND WENDY”

OPERA. HOUSE ON FRIDAY. Children representing dainty fairies, bold pirates, Indians, lost bdys, various toys from the nursery, and the ilowers in the garden will assemble at the Opera House, Hawera, next Friday evening, November 16, and will gladden the heart with their gay dances, songs, stories, and music. There will be bold Harlequin (Zelda Spragg) and liis winsome dairy doll (Joan Thomas) in a flirtation duo, and the quaint courtship of two merry Dutchies (Audrey McLaren and Jujine Goodwin). A dainty measure will be the gavotte danced' by little Christine McLaren and Norma Thomas. A Grecian dance “Pan, the God of the Shepherds,” will be cleverly interpreted by Audrey McLaren. An added attraction will be several soloists from Wanganui—Joyce Hayward in a brilliant skipping dance and “The Death of a Stag”; Shirley Crammond in a classical dance, and Margaret Hine in an operatic solo. Nancy Ivent will give a delightful portrayal of “Pandora.” and the enacting _ of “Felix Wooing” by Margaret Harrington and Eila. Gunderson should appeal to all. The box plan will open on Monday morning at Miss Blake’s, Opera House Confectionery.
