' A message from Lynn, Massachusetts, states: Fourteen were killed on Tuesday morning by an explosion which wrecked the- shoe plant of the Preble Eox Toe Company at East Lynn. Nine others, who were injured, are in a serious condition, and several are missing. Flames, from the explosion burst into a neighbouring house, killing a woman and her lour children. The others killed are believed to be workers employed by the Preble Box Toe Company.
