The prices to he paid by the meat works have been awaited with keen interest, and while no official announcement has been made, it is understood tliev will open at tenpence tor lamb, with prices in proportion for beef. It is estimated by experts, that prices will be about three ish ill ini's better all round than those offering last year at this time.
