BRITISH PARLIAMENT.

SESSION OPENS ON TUESDAY. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, Oct. 26. The King will open the final session of the present Parliament with the customary pageantry on Tuesday week, and it is understood. Cabinet at a meeting next Monday will further consider the details of the legislative programme and the subjects to he mentioned in the Speech from the Throne.

It is anticipated that with the exception of finance the business of the session will he restricted almost entirely to the reform of rating and of local government, andl consultations are now taking place almost daily between the Minister of Health and representatives of local authorities and other bodies affected by the Governfhent.’s rating scheme.
