ELECTION CAMPAIGN.
THE PATEA SEAT. TWO NOMINATIONS RECEIVED Nominations of candidates at the coining Parliamentary elections on November 14, closed throughout New Zealand at noon to-day. For the Patea seat only two nominations were presented, both being lodged this morning with the Returning Officer at Hawera (Mr A. ,T. Ching). They were those of the sitting member and Reform candidate, Mr H. G. Dickie, and the United Party candidate, Mr J. D. Hislop. A candidate is required to he nominated by at least two electors of the district, but several signatures appear on the nomination paper of each of the candidates.
