MAGISTRATE’S DESCRIPTION OF MOTORIST. . (By Telegraph—Press- Association.) DANNEVIRKE, Oet. 24. Jamies Hurren, *a travelling salesman, was charged before the Magistrate, Hr J. Miller, S.M., of having driven a* motor ear negligently. The accused' on. July 29, on a perfectly straight road between Norsewood and Takapau, ran into a car travelling In the opposite direction. It was alleged that he was on the wrong side. The Magistrate said that there was no reason at all for the accident and that the case had been proved to the hilt. The defendant was a menace to th.- public and he would be fined £2O and his licence cancelled for one yeair. Ke had previously, at Gisborne, been, fined £25 for a breach of the motor regulations.
