HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) ' ' ’ HAMILTON, Qct. 23. Fire- destroyed a seveitoropmed house, owned 1 by Mr AY. Sutton at AYadtetuina, on ithe Raglan Rond. Part of the house was used ais a. post office. A small quantity iof mail matter was lost.
CLAIM FOR INJUNCTION DISMISSED. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 23. Air. Justice Adams this morning heard a' case in which the "Vacuum Oil Company Proprietary, Ltd., of Wellington, ‘sought aii injunction against the National Service Station®, Ltd., Christchurch, with the object preventing’ them from mixing Plume motor spirit with a mixture sold as Canterbury ' Automobile Association spirit. , The plaintiff alleged that the defendant mixed* the petrol, and as a result the mixture came to be regarded as superior to Plunle. The judge held that the plaintiff bad not established its right to an injunction, and dismissed the case, with costs. * DEATH FROAI INJURIES. AUCKLAND. Qct. 24. Archibald Trembath, aged 22, a_ butcher, died at the hospital from injuries caused by a dog causing bis motor cycle to skid.and fall, resulting in him receiving serious injuries.
