FRENCH SAILORS ON STRIKE

MARSEILLES, Oct, 17
Sailors are on strike deinanding an increase of 25s a mo if ill in their wages. They recently held up several liners by means of one-day strikes. Owners are retaliating and have withdrawn several vessels, dismissing tbo crews. Dockers are supporting the strikers and an extension is feared.
