SANDSTAR, foaled 1921, is a bay horse standing 16.2 high and is of a beautiful temper and constitution. No thoroughbred seen south of the line has, or had, a stouter strain of blood than Sandstar. His grandsire on the male side is Rock Sand, and on the dam’s side Bright Steel. His great grandsires were “'S’anfoin” and Henry of Navarre” (sires side), and St. Simon and Pcsitano (dam’s side). Sandstar. and Bisogne are No. 18 sires, St. Evelyn being the granddam of Bisogne and the greatgranddam of Sandstar. Sandstar’s first foals are now yearlings, and they point to him .becoming a great sire, and sure foal-getter. TEEMS:' Single Mares, 25 guineas; two or more mares, as arranged.
