There was a fair yarding at, Westfield to-day of ex which sold under steady competiitiou at prices slightly under those ruling at hufffc week’s market. Cow beef was panned in average nraiiLais. • It also sold steadily sit- prices slightly below last week’s quotations. Extra choice ox sold .to 45s per 1001 b, and prime young cow and heifer beef 395 1 . .There was a more than average yarding of sheep, and prices weie easier all round.A fair number of shorn sheep was yardedi and comprised -several good lines of owes. Extra heavy prime wether wooply miade 42s Gd; shorn. 33*; 9d ; medium woolly’ 355; Might and untin irahed woolly, 31s 6d; heavy prime ewes woolly, 38s 6d: shorn, 28s; lighter, woolly, 33s Gd ; shorn, 265; other owes, woolly. 27-s 6d. An' averaiee yarding of spring lambs came forwaid. It sold steadily at late rate's. Heavy prime lambs made 28s. medium 255, light 23s 9d.
