OHANGAI.

SIXTIETH BIRTHDAY PARTY. On Saturday evening a most enjoyable party was given by Mr W. Taylor, of Ohanga Road, Normanby, ait bis residence, being the occasion of his 60th birthday. There were many friends present from Hawera, Meremere and Ararata. The evening was spent in cards, songs, and dancing, items being contributed by Misses Taylor and Hannah, Messrs Taylor (sen.), Evans, Spice and Taylor (jun.). The dance music, was supplied by Mr Sangster. A presentation of a case of pipes was made to Mr Taylor. The company drank his health and the wish was expressed that he might enjoy “many happy returns of the day.” Mr Taylor suitably replied.
