Prospects of tlie aviators starting the return flight across the Tasman are now rather remote,” said' Dr. Kid-son, Government Meteorologist, t-o-day, “and it is more likely to be about Tuesday before the weather settles, if then. “The pressure is now very lowover the Tasman., the barometer at Hobart this morning falling at 4 a.m. to as low as- 28.85 ..inches. Strong northerly to north-westerly winds, approaching gale force in places, still prevail between New Zealand and Australia.” - -A Flight-Lieutenant ' Ulm returned with Captain Buckley to Blenheimlate this afternoon from Christchurch. To-morrow the intention of the airmen is to make a test flight in the Southern Cross.
