MUSICAL COMPETITIONS AT CAMBRIDGE. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CAMBRIDGE, Oct. 2. The Cambridge Competitions Society’s sixth annual festival commenced yesterday and will continue till Friday. The entries total 530, a record, competitors coming from all parts of the province. Mr. Will Hutchins, of Wanganui, is the adjudicator in the vocal and instrumental mudic Isections, .and Mr. Clifford Bell, of Auckland, is the elocution judge. The attendance yesterday was very satisfactory.
