WEDDING AT SUVA.

1 NEWLING —FOREMAN. The wedding of Misis Ellen .Doreen. (Nellie)- Foreman and Mr Cniaripsi Horace Newling, which took place in the Church of Holy Trinity, Suva, Fiji, at 7 o’clock on the loth August, presented a very pretty picture, the bride being the four in daugnter ot Mbs E. A. Foreman, of Dariuevirke, and] .the late E. B. Foreman, of Khpongh, Taranaki, and. tne briclegrcoim toe eldest -son or Mr and Mrs H. J. Newling, of Ormondvilla, Hawke’s, Bay. Miss Foreman made a very charming bride. in her dainty frock of white georgette, with aocordeo'ii pleated flounces and!., a shoulder posy of orange blossom. Hei* veil of embroidered tulle was arranged .round l the head, and held by a chaplet of orange bndis aiid .pearls. S-he carried! a beautiful showpr bo-uquet of euchariis lilies, roses, and maiden hair fern, the present of Mrs Garnett. The bridesmaid. Miss Frances Hill, of Gisborne, was becomingly frocked in pink georgettp. and carried a bouquet to tone. Mr Ray Doyle, of Sydney, a friend of the bridegroom, acted' as best man, while Mr L. F. Garnett took the place of the bride’s rotifer, aiid gave her away. The Rev. W. J. Hands officiated, and the Wedding March l was played 'bv the church organist. Following. the ceremony, a reception was held at the residence of Mr L. F. Garnett, Mrs Garnett receiving her guests in a handsome frock of black georgette arid gold lace. The tables were beautifully decorated in pink, blue and white, and were filled by a large hum-' ber of friends of the bride and bridegroom, while the collection of lovely presents spoke convincingly of the popularity of the young couple. Air and J Mrs Newling left for their honeymoon, which they spent in Levuika, after an enjoyable evening amongst their guests.. Their new horn© will be in Suva.
