ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
FATAL SHOOTING ACCIDENT. (By .Telegraph—Press Association.) FOXTON, Sept. 26. A tragic fatal shooting accident happened on Robinson’s run at Himatangi about noon to-day, the victim being James Vernon Robinson, 36 tears of age, a single man, the eldest son of Mrs. James H. Robinson, of Foxton. Deceased took a shotgun from his whare with the object o’i shooting some sheep-worrying dogs. Not returning to the whare for lunch, an employee made a search and discovered his body alongside a fence with a w'ound in the top of the head. MOTOR CYCLIST FATALLY INJURED. WELLINGTON, Sept. 27. Geiffrey Charles Phillips, aged 20, w’as fatally injuride at Petone. He was riding a motor cycle w’hen he collided with a Handing bus after coming out from behind a lorry. He was employed at the new railway workshops.
